成績表

a month is passed, this is my first report card. Happy to see it is quite good, but also sad to realize I have passed 1/3 of my school time.

I started my second month today, new teacher, some new classmates. They seems very capable, well, that's good for me.

My father is going to be 75 on this saturday, as a broke and out of town daughter, I tried my best to make a video to him as a birthday gift. After struggle over weeks to design the storyboard, give command to my actors actresses, download, upload, and after having some good fights with Windows Movie Maker, Youtube Editing and Paintbrush...yes, the anicent Paintbrush which exists since windows 3.0 era, which I used for some "artwork" on the video, which is very kitsch, but which suits the chan's family style perfectly... the very lo-fi, down to earth home video is done, and it's name is 陳頌民75大壽

I know you are not going to believe how a video like this would cause WEEKS to produce. But can you give some credit to this overseas shooting movie? It is certain big production!

讀書

除了new foundland, new york 和boston外，暑假我一直待在農場，那兒就像我的基地，直至上周為止。我又回到滿地可上法文課去。

為期一個月的YMCA法文班，聽上去有點兒戲，但朝8:30 晚3:00清一式法文，其實也很密集。早上是三小時的正規文法課，是典型斯文盡心盡力女教師；下午兩個半小時的會話課，連珠發炮的男老師會和我們五個學生講東講西，要練習＂假如...我會...＂的句式，他提出的不是＂假如有空你要幹甚麼？＂，而是＂假如可以整容，你想整哪兒？＂，雖然他會很無情地直指我的聆聽簡直是catastrophic，但是他那些例句真是比＂假如有空，我會溫習法文＂這些老掉牙的例句更合我河車。

同學是聯合國，沙地埃及俄羅斯南韓伊朗敍利亞加拿大人，多半是移民來後法文不流暢難求職所以來努力讀書，所以大家也很用心。

滿地可的公家出租單車滿目皆是，即使是鬧巿馬路旁還是會開一段作單車徑，我試著踏單車回家希望取代巴士地鐵，但7.2公里，就像大埔和大學站的距離，部分沒有單車徑須擦車而過，我踩得辛苦也不想害人害己，只好多以跑步做運動。

下課後回去朋友介紹租住的寓所，很舒適太清潔的家，但我還是喜歡不用為發現沙發上有條長髮而感到不好意思的地方（同住的包租公還是個光頭的！）

一切都是新的，幸好待在我熟悉而且最喜愛的舊城巿。

我真希望貼兩張寫著＂生活愉快＂和＂學業猛進＂的揮春在房門口。
