Candies

I went to supermarket with my mom to look for some soba noodles.

I think she likes going out with me, because she can leave the routine, the routine restaurants, grocery, shops and bus routes, mostly set by my father.

She was checking all sorts of udon and soba in the Japanese food aisle.

Sometimes she could not enjoy as much because she was occupied by the idea that my father is upset being left behind, even though we did ask him to come with us and he refused.

"I am not going next time." "He is such a grumpy old man." "It's good but..." My mom has been saying these when I go to yoga, grocery, movie and dinner with her.

A traditional housewife is not to upset her husband, no matter how unreasonable he is. My mom is a classic one.

So I picked a pack of peach flavour soft candies for my mom. She likes to have some candies in her bag. She still has that curiosity about the world, I have to dig that out and assist her to rebel.
