Harmonica


My father saw my harmonica, he grabbed it out from the box and blew it casually.

"I didn't know you play harmonica," I teased him.

"I have so many things in my pockets that you have never realised," he fought back.

"Such a tiny harmonica costs 60 dollars." He noticed the price label on the box and just like most elderly people, he would rather pay $60 for two breakfasts from Fairwood, or six jumbo golden kiwis from the Yau Ma Tei fruit market.

I pretended I did not hear that. I was thinking what should I say if he knew the price label is in Canadian dollars.
